Big thanks to Miked! I just happened to check 'Dead Tide's' listing over at Amazon and guess who posted a 5-star review? Makes me very happy that you enjoyed it.

Eric, you are such a class act. I really need to pick up my writing pace. It is criminal to keep you waiting on me, and even worse to leave any fans of Barren Earth hanging.

I was a bit worried about this, but it has been good to see that this is a valid debate point on zombies.

I think I was overly verbose at times. I should have stuck to brief answers and given more opportunity for questions if there were any. Just a little self analysis. Maybe I could have asked a few questions of my own. For example:
1)"From a woman's perspective, how do you think Eric or I handle sex in our books? Is it a missed opportunity, or is it mishandled (sorry), or what?"
2)"After interview follow-up: Did you like Barren Earth, once you finished it?"
3)"How do I handle the Eric/Tim situation? Someone is going to get hurt. (haha, probably me) Now I'm turning you two into advice columnists!"
I thought our interviewers brought professionalism and a sense of fun that certainly made me feel comfortable. Of course, Eric might feel differently after receiving a new nickname, but they say people don't pick on you unless they like you. But wait...They didn't pick on me. Does that mean...?

Ok, a new wrinkle to this question: If you die by natural causes, do you re-animate? I'm leaning toward one answer, but I'll wait to see what you all have to say. :)

Dr. Paffenroth has a good speaking voice. Not too sure about mine. Thing I need some work.
Thanks for the book defense, Doc!

Hang in there man. We take the good with the bad, right? And Jessica and Tim thank you!
Eric, we'll just have to really knock their socks off with the sequel.

Hey Lee! Sorry, just caught your remark on The Cougar and the Vampire. :) Think I should roll with it? I have the feeling this one wouldn't take long to write.

That's pretty cool, man. The only autographed thing I have is a Dan Marino signed football, which I also find pretty cool.
Are there any other of Bradbury's works that are comparable to 451 as far as how good they are? 'Cause I really like his writing style.-wgwolford
There are quite a few great Bradbury books: The Illustrated Man; Long After Midnight; R is for Rocket; S is for Space; A Medicine for Melancholy; the Martian Chronicles and quite a few more.
Some of his stories still haunt me to this day.

Let's not forget Brian Lumley or Charles deLint!

Love Lumley's books, but I think I've only read one Charles deLint. On your recommendation I will rectify that---Thanks!

I haven't discussed books much in years. It is intriguing to into several people who've read the same books I have.
And you are right Fred, my friend, I probably do remember far too much about those books.

Just so all of you know, I thought the Gor books were a great idea, and I enjoyed at least parts of them at least until Marauders of Gor. I think that was the last one I read. Weren't two of his enemies Pa-Kur and Kuurrus? I can't remember anymore whether he ever really killed them or not. Didn't he also leave us hanging on the Priest Kings?

I'll just say something about the Gor books for now. The guy ruined those books with his obsession with female submission to men. "Inside of every woman is a slave girl just waiting to be released." While this might sound good to some of you right now, he beat that idea to death so badly that some of his books were at least 50 % garbage I would skip over.
