Michelle McCrary is an emerging horror author, specializing in the zombie genre. She has several short stories in the "Zombology" series from Library of the Living Dead Press, as well as a short story in the "Ladies of Horror" anthology from the Library of Horror Press.
Michelle also is the coordinator of the Shreveport Zombie Walk on World Zombie Day, a world-wide event that takes place every year and benefits local food banks. Michelle has been called the local "Zombie Queen" by press, family and friends.
She is also the mother of two boys ages 10 and 12 and the proud wife of a full-time Army National Guard Soldier who is her hero in every way.

Opening night was fantastic! I didn't forget any of my lines - whew! So we have a show tonight to a packed theater and the last show is tomorrow night. Zombie Walk 09 PICS!!!

Just wanted to share the pics I have so far from the Shreveport Zombie Walk this year that I coordinated! It was a big success - we had approx. 175 zombies and raised almost 600 lbs of food for the local food bank! Also, the local indie theater showed Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead and the original Night of the Living Dead, and we had a great turn out to all shows! It was awesome!!!! I am working on something that is told more in a "Well, tell us your story" format. It's gonna be pretty damn funny and tongue in cheek - making fun of two things that I know a lot about - Cajuns and LSU fans!

I will be attending, but I HATE driving around Dallas. Any takers for being my chauffeur? Uno and Vick? Once I park my truck at my cousin's house in Grand Prairie, I am not moving it until I leave to drive back to Shreveport! Oh, and the kiddos will come with me for Saturday, but not for the "after party" fun!
