Wonderful episode, Doc. I think that I have read the story that you gave 11 severed thumbs up to on a fan fiction site about a year ago. Maybe wrong, though. I remember two very strong female lead characters and with that lots of character development. If it is the same story, it truly rocks. I remember staying up till nearly dawn (and yes, only getting about an hours worth of sleep) several nights in a row to finish that one.

The Byron Chronicles are wonderful. And most importantly, they include ZOMBIES! Ya know, now anyone who is a Christian can say "Zombies are Biblical"! Gotta love it.

I think DarkerProjects just updated Alive Inside, at least according to my iTunes settings. Haven't looked into it yet though.

Zombie PSA

Found this on a random visit to IMDB a while back. Funny as hell. Kinda reminds me of the instructional video in the movie Dodgeball.

I know I'm the new guy but can we do something to help? Maybe send you the $$$ for a case of Corona and some limes?

Wal-Mart. Please, everyone, don't buy produce, meat, or anything "fresh" from Wal-Mart. I've serviced lots of their refrigerated equipment and well, you'd all be very surprised to see what grows in the bottom of a refrigerated case that hasn't been washed out in a month or two. Wal-Mart stores are the only grocery stores I service where I cannot stick my head in a poultry case without getting sick to my stomach. And don't get me started on their produce cases.

I'd love to see the pictures of the zombie animals. The one's I've seen would make great stickers for the back of the car!

About avatar's: How easy is that to add, and where do I find some?

Ahh, a proper keyboard. Feels nice, very nice...ahem, anyways...

So I'm still catching up on the "back issues" of the podcast, I'm up to #38. Christmas of '07 in July. Simply wonderful. Like I said earlier, I've been extremely busy with work (yuck) lately, so I apologize for not replying sooner. Fortunately, my job (industrial/commercial refrigeration service) requires that I drive a lot. A whole freakin lot. Usually for about 4 to 5 hours each day. Just perfect for an episode or two of your cool as hell podcast, Doc.

About the name.

My wife and I have 3 Dachshunds: Charlie, Gretel, and Mini. After having Mini (who is a girl) fixed, her once trim and lithe figure well, is now not so trim and lithe. Hormone's says the Vet, but she's healthy and not really overweight. She's by no means fat, but the meaning of her name has changed from a reflection of her "delicate-ness" to something more ironic. Like the 7', 270lbs guy who's name is Tiny. Well, one day my wife and I were trying to figure out a good word to describe how Mini walks. We both agreed that Mini "glorps" around. So that's where the name comes from. Not as cool as "yeah, that's the sound a zombie's intestines make as they strike the ground after said zombie is ripped in half by a -insert dangerous piece of equipment here- that I Macgyver'ed to become the ultimate zombie destroying device."

Thanks all for being very welcoming. Eye Gravy. Nice. I'll never look at a Hardee's Biscuit'n Gravy the same way. Shit.

By the way, who is Timmy?

Thanks for the warm (or cold, as applicable) welcome! I've been extremely busy, so sorry for the delay in replying. I'm trying to reply using my iPod touch and it's slow going. Well the novelty has worn off... More after the break...

Hello all!

I'm hooked. What else is there to say? Maybe that the podcast is freakin awesome? Or that it's "cool as hell" (to borrow a phrase from the Good Doctor)? Or maybe that I can get more than just a few minutes each day of my Zed fix? THE PODCAST IS FRICKIN AWESOME!!! Thanks Doc for all of your hard work.

By the way, do the spouses of the married folk out there laugh at you when you jump for joy and squeal at the arrival of a new podcast from the Doctor? Is that normal? :)

To follow that same line of questioning, is it normal to refuse to go into a building because if we're attacked by zombies, there is no easy way out/too many windows/too many people/no ready supply of guns, ammo, and food? It's only natural to think those things, right? :)
