I loooooove the idea of zombie animals, but it does bring our percentages down pretty damn quick when you start talking zombie gnats and the like. ;) More of a challenge!

I'm a small, small small, small-time horror writer. My work's appeared in several anthologies, many from Permuted Press who are releasing my book EMPIRE - check out the UNDEAD series and order EMPIRE at PermutedPress.com!

Egads! Sorry to hear about the troubles w/Amazon, man.
Sweet, sweet, sweeeeeet!
This is getting better and better and better.
Here's mine http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=141589
Man, I can't believe I forgot our fledgling UD campaign. I suck. :P I'm way the hell east in Penny Heights. I'm gonna get up and head west.
Great to hear! Glad you're digging it. :)
I've had the honor of checking out DEAD TIDE and let me tell you, it's a white-knuckle zombie disaster epic! Can't wait to feel it in my cold dead hands.
Well I don't think that sumbitch Podmatic is uploading my comments, but the show was great. LOTLD is still going strong!
It's FREE? Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
Sounds wicked, I'll check this out as soon as I can! :)
The first one gave me some genuine chills. I love those middle-of-nowhere type of movies and the microbudget values made it more real. Not so crazy about the silliness in Evil Dead 2 but Army of Darkness found a nice balance between horror and laughs.
You're good Doc, handled it perfectly IMHO.
I know a compliment when I see one. Puking your guts out is just above pouring your heart out and sometimes it takes a LOT of guts. So very glad I could help. :)
All is forgiven...with or without Empire (okay, that helps ;D ). We've got plenty of archives to peruse in the stacks.
I did nothing! Jacob just knows a good...blurbist?...when he sees one. ;)
Right now, it's available at http://Amazon.com and at some Borders bookstores (call in advance if you have one in your area). We're seeing what we can do about getting it out in other places!
Houldenbank's NT buildings are toast so I'm going south to Penny Heights' Rothwell Building.
Thanks ZombieMom!!
Y'all who've already sampled Empire's goodies can help spread the word too:
- Post on message boards (don't spam - post where advertising is allowed, or in your sig/profile) about the book and http://EmpireNovel.com
- Run down the street screaming "EMPIRENOVELDOTCOM" and beat your head against a wall until you start hemorrhaging blood. Use the blood to write the link on nearby buildings, curbs etc.
- E-mail your friends about the book and link to http://EmpireNovel.com
- Link to http://EmpireNovel.com in your blog/journal.
- Kill a passing ice cream truck driver and abscond with his vehicle. Play that creepy Pied Piper tune and shriek into the loudspeakers about Empire.
Of course, only do this if you've enjoyed Empire yourself and/or want to support small-press horror. I appreciate all of you, and any guerrilla campaign support you can provide is MOST appreciated!
http://daviddunwoody.com/ is gonna be the hub for all my stuff on the Web. From there, you'll be able to find all of the stories in the Empire universe as well as stuff related to my upcoming serial novel The Harvest Cycle and all kinds of other crazy crap. Plus links to the forum at Permuted, my MySpace and all that fun shit! BOOYA
Nope, I'm still dead. Oh well, looks like Owsley's out of business. So we're both stinking corpses...new strategy?
