The Library of Horror is giddy to bring you it's first Bizarro Horror Anthology!
No name yet, we'll get to that later.
The submission period begins right........now and runs til I think we've got enough stories. I will make announcements regarding the closing date as it manifests here in this thread.
I'm looking for original Bizarro stories with horror twists and/or elements. It is okay if you make me laugh but you have to scare me too. I want wacky, wild, wierd, and any other "w" words you can put in a terrifying and odd tale. No, seriously, make them strange, scary, and sexy. All right, just do like I said in the first line and make them Bizarro stories with horror elements and this will be a blast for everyone.

This is straight from the bizarro starter kit:
1. Bizarro, simply put, is the genre of the weird.
2. Bizarro is literature's equivalent to the cult section at the video store.
3. Like cult movies, Bizarro is sometimes surreal, sometimes goofy, sometimes bloody, and sometimes borderline pornographic.
4. Bizarro often contains a certain cartoon logic that, when applied to the real world, creates an unstable universe where the bizarre becomes the norm and absurdities are made flesh.
5. Bizarro strives not only to be strange, but fascinating, thought-provoking, and, above all, fun to read.
6. Bizarro was created by a group of small press publishers in response to the increasing demand for (good) weird fiction and the increasing number of authors who specialize in it.
7. Bizarro is Franz Kafka meets Joe Bob Briggs, Dr. Suess of the postapocalypse, Japanese animation directed by David Lynch.

use italics - do not underline
no page numbers
Place your contact information on first page, upper left - name, address, phone number, and email.
On the upper right please state the name of the holiday you are using and the word count.

hmmm, I think you are right....I was gonna talk to Doc about another monster antho...but your idea is much better...mine was less on horror more on comedy....yours is definitely better....and anyone who can write about Satan's glory hole is okay in my book. Congrats on your other antho too!

I've got two ready for me to edit and submit. Sometimes the topic just grabs ya and a story comes out. Sometimes it doesn't. I had an idea for zombidays, but he banned the use of MLK day.
I've got an idea. I have a story or two I have to finish before I can get to it though.
I started my story...
I've been wanting to write this one for the past week or so (basically since I had the idea.) The dark fantasy novel's kind of being an unrelenting ho, so I scribbled down the opening of this. Hopefully I can tool it so it'll match the length you want, but I'm sure I can, considering the content.
Let's just say my story has something to do with this guy...
