Re the last question about advice to authors; it's all well and good proofing your work, but there are hundreds of good writers just too shy or lacking in confidence to send their work out.
That's where I think interviews such as this and forums such as the Library become invaluable.

You have enough good and honest friends on here that would be willing to help you out, DW and you don't really 'know' us in the real world. PM someone that you would feel comfortable with proofreading your stuff and ask if they would so kind. That's gotta be better than asking a 'real life' person, yeah?
Another good interview. I've told Kody before that I wish I was as focused and as good a writer as he is when I was 17. My brain was thoroughly stewed in my late teens and early twenties.
