As you all know, I still work a part time day job to make ends meet. I am blessed to make enough from writing not to have to work full time but even so, I need my part time job. Alas, things are going really badly there. Give me some prayers.

All my best to you, man. I wish you the best of luck. If it so pleases you I can get a bunch of people here on campus to cast spells or something..... or go organize a protest so you can keep your job... we can do that.
LOL!! I think I will pass on the spells mate. No offense. Thank you though.
I know how rough it is to lose a job these days. I hope things work out with the job or if not, you are able to find a replacement as quickly as possible.
Do you need a hit put out on somebody? I could make an offending party 'disappear'...
Otherwise, I can wish you the best. I've been in that position several times, and I know it sucks.
Hell, in fact, yesterday the big whigs were in our store, and I managed to conduct business for both my own business and the boss's business without the whigs being any the wiser. Heck, had two business meetings in the parking lot without attracting undue attention.
Cheers,

BBM, you rock mate. I will keep you all posted as to how it goes.
No, really, it was awesome:
Carlos is the VP of HC (where I work). About three months ago, he fired our district manager, Andy. Andy was immediately snatched up by Tony, who is the Prez of OC (the commercial side of our company).
Andy still hates Carlos for being a dickless loseoid. Frankly, I agree with him. Andy was a great guy.
Well, My business is setting up some seriously awesome web shit for Ben (my direct boss) and Andy.
We've been told by Carlos not to talk to Andy under penalty of termination. If we see him in the grocery, we're supposed to turn and walk away. I'm sorry, but I didn't even obey my MOTHER when she told me who to stay away from. Strangers are some of the best people I've ever met.
So when Andy shows up at the store, and calls me because Ben's got some stuff in his car that Andy needs, I turn to the boss and say, "Hey boss, got a little family emergency, I'll be right back." I leave with HIS car keys and HIS car, and go accross the parking lot.
I'm such a fluid liar these days that the little mexican C-tosser bought it. PFFT. what sheep people are.
I'm certain that I could go on a double date with two women at the same table, and neither would realize that I'm both of their dates. I should have been a sitcom star.

Best wishes and prayers sent your way Eric.
I hope everything works out, man. This is a story I've heard way too many times in the past few years.
Hope all goes well for you!
Romans 8:28...
Hold it tight.
Positive thoughts in your direction, man.
I thought your day job was being awesome? One cannot lose that...
Seriously though, hope things work out well.
Sorry to hear that, man. Best wishes to you and yours.
Prayers said, Eric.
Hope it all turns out well for you Eric. Times are tough and I am sorry to hear you have been caught up in it. Prayers to you man!
Best wishes, Eric.
You're in my thoughts, friend.
You guys rule. Thanks so much. As of today at least, I still have a job though we have now lost two people so far. It helps that the powers that be think I am the only one who can repair all the equipment in the lab and keep it functioning. LOL.
Hopefully things will work out, if not, I guess I better get to writing even more eh?
It's been a tough week all around here. My son has been home sick since Tuesday mid-day. He's getting better but I can't begin to express the backlog of things I have to deal with next week from his being here. Thank God, he is getting better though. I was rather worried yesterday.
Later all,
