I went over the handlebars of a penny farthing doing front wheelies. It's a long way down.
I saw a guy riding through Bristol, here in the UK, on a unicycle. In full 'tour de fance' cycling garb. You could just tell that everybody who saw him thought "Look at that twat" 
Nah, would have been funnier if he was in a bear costume and wearing a fez
I would enjoy going for a ride on a penny farthing. That might be my next bike.
Hell, if you could put some shock absorbers on it, and a coaster brake, I might consider doing some downhill bicyclecross on one. I miss downhill racing, but there just isn't a good enough shock value in it anymore.
