It is truly amazing, how a few carefully chosen nasty words can cut into even the toughest writer like a sharp blade and leave them bleeding. Honestly critical reviews of my crap, while still hurtful, are at least hurtful in a constructive way. However, the nasty long winded attacks such as this leave me grumbling and grinding my teeth. Some people can be very petty when it comes to this type of review.
I refuse to let them drag me down. They used to and it did my psyche absolutely zero good. Now I blow them off. I highly encourage everyone in this thread to do the same thing. I had a bad moment a few months ago then realized the moron had no idea who I was or what I was about. I started to laugh about it and felt much better (yes, it was a personal attack).

There's always the zombie approach:
"Kill 'em; kill 'em all!" Let the cookies fall where they may ...
Just for posting that review I would buy any book that it was one.
Thanks everyone for your kind words. I normally blow off the bad reviews, but this one stung. I got quite a few bad reviews on the blog, so I am pretty used to it by now. I wonder if he will buy the second book once I get it finished.
