I downloaded it so I could hear Laura's song right away...AWESOME! It was funny as hell and sweet too. Great job Laura!
Now to settle in and listen to the rest!
Doc I loved the done in one!!! It was awesome to hear my story come to life that way! Now to listen to the rest of the stories and songs!
Doc this was freaking awesome! I loved it, and getting to hear my friend Mr. Kotz being read, it was the best. Love what you do Doc, keep up the great work!
Yowza! I'll have to put it on the mp3 and listen to it at work.
Cool beans! I'll have to download and listen while editing, soon.
Doc, that was the best one yet! I really enjoyed the bit you included from the convention. Very cool.
:)
I recorded all of the Author Panels and they will appear in the forthcoming Podcasts.
Thank you all for the kind comments. It's great to be back on the air.
Doc
Well done (as usual), Doc. Can't wait for the next one. The "Done in One" was most excellent.
Dr. Paffenroth has a good speaking voice. Not too sure about mine. Thing I need some work.
Thanks for the book defense, Doc!
More comments to come on the rest of the podcast.
Another great show. It makes my hour drive to work everyday, so much easier.
The begining of the end. That story was fucking amazing. Holy shit was that good. Thanks Dr. Pus.
Have you ever played the band. "The Spookshow" they sing about Zombies and death. They even have a song called "Here comes the Zombies". I think it would be awesome for the show.
Thanks again Dr. Pus.
I downloaded it so I could hear Laura's song right away...AWESOME! It was funny as hell and sweet too. Great job Laura!

Aww, shucks, Mr. The Dunwoody, 'tweren't nothin'.
No, seriously Laura, you have a very real and wonderful talent with writing the lyrics and singing. I think I'm going to shit-can all of the songs I did on the CD and just put your songs on there.
Everytime I see an e-mail with a new song from you on it, it's played immediately.
By the way, I need one for #95.![]()

Listened to the whole three hours at work today. What a great way to zone out from my job.
Just finished this one. There was a lot I like in it, but I'm starting to get concerned about Westy Mode -- I like the style, but when you're on a tirade against a bad review, there's a fine line. If a review is unfair, it's reasonable to call the reviewer out. If a review is mean-spirited, it's reasonable to go on a tirade against it. But if a review is just negative, and you go all Full-Westy on the reviewer, you risk sounding like a bully, like you're trying to intimidate people into never daring to say anything negative. I know you're not really a bully, and that's why it made me uncomfortable. With the previous Westy Modes, it was like the reviewer crossed the line into being mean-spirited first, so it was like you were fighting fire with fire (Though it's always risky to respond to criticism with anger).
Now that I think of it, between Westy Mode, the end of the Age of the Zombie episode, and the end of the Zombology selection, it seemed like this episode had a lot more mean-spirited content than usual -- good stories, but having both of them along with the rant all together in the same episode made it hard to take.
After all, in a good zombie movie, the characters who are mean to other humans are the ones we love to watch get eaten.
I figured something like this would come up. "Full Westy Mode" is just a rant. It's not to be taken in a mean spirited way. I caught hell years ago for doing a "Retarded Review". It was the last one I did because one person complained. I've learned that I can't please all of the Librarians all of the time. Learned it the hard way I suppose.
Sorry you didn't like the episode. But when I feel a review needs a "Full Westy Mode" I'll still continue to do them.
Thank you for your well written comments Redshoe.
Doc
Is there any chance of Full Westy Mode being applied to other topics? I'd love to hear you go Full Westy on bad movies.
