Yeah, you read that right. I'm starting a new podcast. This one will be dedicated to everything non-zombie. Kinda like "Library of Horror Press". We'll present full production stories from our "horror" books, have interviews and book reviews, do some crazy shit, have some more of my shitty songs and stuff like that.
Now, I need help on this. I want all of my Good Librarians to be part of this. I need someone to do book reviews, do movie reviews and do interviews and find me some meth.![]()
I'll need a ton of voice actors for the full productions stuff. We'll start off with the entire novel "Pretty When She Dies" by Rhia. The short stories will be culled from our "Library of Horror" anthologies. We'll also be doing stories by Derek Goodman in the "Apocalypse Shift" universe.
You wanna party?
Doc
SWEET!
I"ll help if I can. This is going to be great!
*checks pockets* nope no meth sorry doc. How about good will? I'm wondering what I could do.... Not too good at reviews. Maybe some voice work on short stories?
Sounds cool, I'll also help any way I can
absolutely i would love to help in any way on this doc. I will be more then happy to!
I need a really, really cool intro Uno. You're hired.
You already rule my world, Doc, but soon you'll rule everyone else's too! Faboo!!!!
I heard the announcement on the latest LotLD podcasdt. This is a very kick ass idea, Doc.
I'd love to help out. Not sure how, but at the very least I can beam good vibes directly into people's brains.
Sounds awesome, I'd love to be a part of it, have my own mic and everything. It's been sitting dejected on my tower for only God knows how long. I'd enjoy doing book reviews. I'd also consider it a great honor to be interviewed. I also have a story 'The Ancient Monsters' appearing in Alienology: Tales From The Void, and would squee to see it audio-phied.
One thing that y'all need to know. The mic that came with your computer sucks. Don't use that one to record. Go buy a headset. Even a $15 Phillips headset sounds good.
Sign me up!
You know me doc, Im down
Funny that I was thinking that a spin off podcast (or two, hint, hint; as if you aren't busy enough) would be cool. Happy to help if you need me. I've done a bit of voice work in the past and would be happy to help out. My voice is a bit malleable even if my accents are a bit limited sometimes. Just let me know what you need.
What kind of a length are you looking for in terms of reviews?
And personally, I enjoy interviews as much as the fiction.
Reviews can be as long as needed. Just so they're not "Westy Mode Long".
I'd been thinking along the lines of 2-2.5 minutes, say 500 words or less. I've been told I have a calm, relaxing voice. More than that might put people to sleep. <g>
Nifty cool in every way!
I can do any voice work you want me to do Doc.
I have no meth. I did get an A+ in chemistry and I can whip up some wicked LSD. In fact, Doc, if you are reading that letter I mailed you it is soaking into your skin through your fingers right now. ![]()
This is a wicked cool idea, I love all the full production stories.
Wicked is my word this week. Wicked, Wicked, Wicked.

Are you trippin out yet, Doc? If not, fold the letter up into a square and place it on your tongue for ten minutes, then sync up Dark Side of the Moon and The Wizard of Oz and call me in the morning.
