Okay, so that doesn't quite sound right, but I just found out my story "Tarantula!" that I sent to my local newspaper's Fright Write contest won 2nd place! I'm over the moon right now--it'll be (hopefully) printed in Thursday's edition and if it is online, I'll post a link.
