It's Not All Bad News!

I thought reinstalling vista was a good idea.... it wasn't at all. On the bright side... after a week of installing then deleting of various programs. IT WORKS!!  So it's not all bad. 

Today is Friday and I only have a 2 day work week next week.  Sooooooooo excited!  I haven't had time off from work that didn't involve me being seriously ill or recovering from some sort of surgery in ages.  And I get to go to Hell for Halloween.  Wooooooooooo! 

I've got a full shift at the art gallery tomorrow, so I'm a bit nervous about how busy it might get...but then in the evening I've organised a big grown-up meal with some chums so that'll be cool!

Yay for you on both counts!  Grown-up meals are fun--what will be on the menu?  I'm going for Thai tonight with my friend.  Yummers!

Just got back from a barbeque.  I'm full of beer, whiskey, steak and Greek salad.  Tomorrow I'm off to Knotts Scary Farm.

We had a Chinese!  It was a really lovely meal and then we went out and got pissed.  Top night!  And my shift at the art gallery has proper knackered me out - I was on my feet for about 7 hours, doing my best Blue Peter impression...I helped kids make paper pumpkins!  It was cool!   I also took a real pumpkin home to do something "arty" with it.  I think I'm going to make up a fairy tale and write it all over the pumpkin...

Cherry Coke and a Snickers bar after a day of back-breaking yard work.  Later, I'll enjoy a few Cranberry Splash Sierra Mists w/ vodka.  Yummers!!!

Re-discovered a great band: Samhain!

Loading up the mp3 with my Samhain collection and the latest LotLD podcast.  At least I'll have something good to listen to at work today.

Samhain and the Misfits are the epitome of horror rock/punk.  I love 'em like my own children, I do.

Danzing was good until he did the Danzig 5 album.  From there it was a quick downhill into shittiness that he never pulled himself out of.

I remember being intrduced to "The Evil Elvis" by way of old music video tapes in my friend's loft.  Aces!

In other news: I managed to fit 370 words on a pumpkin for inclusion in an exhibition at the gallery I work at, on Saturday!  Hurrah!

I'm pretty excited that my book got picked up by Alliance Games Distributors -- it'll be available in specialty gaming stores starting in February!!!

I'm going to watch Ghost Adventures Live tonight... Something to do on a Friday, then it is Trick-or-Treating tomorrow. Have a fun Halloween all.

Back from Chicago and soon off to Detroit then.....HELL!!!!!!!!!!  Jeebus, I love Halloween time--hope everyone has an awesome holiday!!!!
