I'm "Searching For the Sea Monster" towards the end, although it reads "Searching for Sea Monsters" in the contents. It's right on the title page of the story. I'll be starting "Old Man and the Puddle" on my way to bed this morning, so you're next after that.
I'm (very slowly) making my way down Cormac McCarthy's The Road, then I'm going to listen to Brooks' World War Z.

Finished 'The Road' last month and came to the conclusion it's a modern retelling of 'The Wizard of Oz'.
As for now, I'm working through M.R. James' ghost stories.

well I finished all the zombie books I got from horror realm, so now I am reading a copy of Among the living that Tim Long sent me, while I am out here on the computer and before bed I am reading,
an Anthology of Lovecraft stories, called Bloodcurdling Tales of Horror and the Macabre.. because I love me some Lovecraft!

That was one of the first collections I ever read. Lovecraft is a horror staple.

Cool, let me know what you think and I'll get onto yours asap.
Just finished Audrey's Door by Sarah Langan who happens to live near me and is a very nice person. If you're into ghost stories, its a great one and she can really write. And am reading The Upright Man-part two in the Straw Men series. And reading Poe's Children Anthology after finishing Dark Delicacies 2.
I'm reading Different Seasons by Stephen King and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
It
Freakanonomics

I enjoyed this story and have to admit the ending caught me just a bit by surprise. Looking back, the setup was all there for it so it may have been me not paying enough attention, but it worked well.
I'm hoping to get my mitts on Greg Bear's new book, City at the End of Time, for review! Otherwise, I'm re-reading King's Skeleton Crew.
Oooh, I like Skeleton Crew! I'll be reading "Murder in the Heartland" and FINALLY finishing Beowulf. (that book hurts my brain)Otherwise, I'm re-reading King's Skeleton Crew.

I'm nearing the end of The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror 20. Much better than the last one, and there're a few really, really good stories about the 'outside world' turning to shit as something weird happens the main characters.
Bought two pulp collections of old detective noir frm a discount bookstore, which I'm looking forward to reading. Also bought a collection of Civil Defence pamphlets from the end of Word War 2 which is excellent both to read as an insight into Cold War paranoia, and to see things like THIS:
Reading Book of the Dead vol.2 at the moment, by Living Dead Press.
Just started a collection of Lovecraft and I found a Zombie Christmas Carol book--some are pretty funny but the book has an intro by Christopher Moore. http://www.amazon.com/Its-Beginning-Look-Like-Zombies/dp/0061956430

Oh! So what did you think of the first story?????
Trying to slog my way through The Terror by Dan Simmons. Sweet zombie jesus is a thick (dry) book.
The Terror was slow but brilliant. Drood is even slower but it is deliciously creepy.
I'm reading The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan (who died, sadly) and Brandon Sanderson and I must say it is a very very good book. Just when I was giving up hope on The Wheel of Time ... next up is Under the Dome.
