"Through the Eyes of the Undead"--OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
I agree, gravedigger. Tower's story is the only second-person POV story I can remember reading that was actually good
Robert,
Have you got much in 2nd person yet. I'm trying to avoid it, but keep finding myself slipping into the voice every time I even think about this story. Seems like that's how it wants to come out.-writingdad
I have read two 2nd person tales for this anthology but accepted neither of them. As I recall, one of them was jumping tense a lot.
If that's what your muse is telling you, go with it. But I have to agree with mrgravedigger in that it's very difficult to pull off. I have read one or two good 2nd person stories in the past though.

Do it, Tim! Do it!
I'm on it. I had an idea for a story and it will work well in this weird style.

Excellent!
Okay sent one in--enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was a fun one to write.
I tried a second person SF stories once and it worked spectacularly well for about 1000 words. Unfortunately, the first draft ran more than 5.5k. Second was better, and a few hundred words shorter, but still doesn't feel right. It's been sitting for a few months waiting for me to decide if it needs a complete overhaul.
I've only read a handful of good 2nd person stories that I can recall, and I think all but one of them probably would have worked better in 1st 3rd.
Still debating.

Are you debating in the second person?
When I started my attempt for this entry, it just came out as 2nd person. It's hard but I am having fun with it.

I finished my story for this and will send it in a day or two. I want to sit on it and reread it since 2nd person is a bitch-kitty to write in. Hope you like it!

I look forward to it, Tim.
November 30th is the deadline for Through the Eyes of the Undead submissions!
I thought I had more time, but this thing is filling up quicker than I expected.
Thanks to everyone who has submitted, and to those of you who will slide in at the last minute. The response has been great, and this is going to be quite an amazing book.
Can't wait to see how everyone approached this - challenging AND fun
Twelve days, hmm? Don't think I'm going to make it since I'm only half way through a first draft at the moment.
I finished mine, read it over did corrections and all that jazz. Then I read the submission req's again and saw I undershot the minimum word count. DOH! so I'm shelving it for now. That being said I can't wait to read what others have come up with. Go team LOTLD, Go!

Just sent my short story "Black Market Funeral" your way and am now keeping my fingers crossed

I've been quite loose as far as the minimum word limit goes. Feel free to sent it to me.
