Daddy,
I tried, I want you to know that I did the best that I could. As soon as I got off the phone with you I started to board up the windows, but it wasn’t good enough. One of them got through and took Carrie. I tried to stop it, I did. I really did. They pulled her out of the crib and... By the time I got the monster off of her, she stopped crying. I tried, I’m sorry, she's dead now. One of them bit me on my shoulder before I could kill it. The news says that is how you get infected and I’m feeling sick. I just threw up…I love you Daddy. I think that I will soon be with Mommy and Carrie. Hopefully I’ll see you again…In another life.
