Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuungover.........
What, am I fifteen again! I thought I gave up this hungover bullshit in high school.
I feel for ya, robertessig. Nothing sucks more than waking up with a hangover, especially if its of the horrible vomit and splitting headache combined variety.
Well, here in San Diego it is widely known that menudo soup is good for a hangover. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's spicey mexican soup with cow tripe. Never had it, and I imagine it cures a hangover when it makes you throw the fuck up!
Just ate a burrito washed down with a Dr. Pepper...something to soak up the whiskey.
I'm going to work on a hangover tonite, by gum! I'm hitting the GIN! And in my church, girlfriends are a necceessessesity. I'll have to start using that as a chat-up line haha
i don't drink no more, but i remember hangovers, and they sucked.
i hate transcribing. halfway through the transfer of the final draft of my book and my wrists hurt from typing.
then i'm going to hate formatting the cover, and then transferring to pdf and then off to the printers.
i think i'm going to take a backseat to publishing a book again.
I hate puking. That's all I've done for the past two days. Well, that and put together podcasts. But I got my barf bucket right beside me in my Studio.

Damn, Doc! Your dedication is inspiring.
I should have got on the Skype chat Saturday and instead of letting y'all hear me pee off the back deck, you could have heard me puking in the bucket.
But I was in be by 10PM Saturday. Bummer.![]()
I have a lot of friends that puke and work. How do ya'll do it? I take to my bed and moan and groan. I was more productive when I was in full labor. If I'm nauseated, "game over"
Oh what's the question?
Oh, Jim is pissing me off. I think its entirely possible he might actually drown in self pity.
Whats grinding my gears tonight?
Political discussions that make people dislike or resent me. From now on I will keep my opinions to myself in the library.
It grinds my gears that I was interrested in seeing the opinons and views on the health care thread, but it was taken down at some point while I was at work. I suppose it was bound to get ugly as opposing political views often do.
It grinds my gears when threads start, and let me repeat that, START, to turn nasty. It's no one's fault. No one got out of hand. No flaming occurred ..... but it was heading that way. I won't have that on the forum.
It grinds my gears when a food item is called "vegetarian" but has lard in it.
Thank goodness I asked before I bought it and saved myself potential tummy trouble.
Good call, Doc. I had this feeling that nine hours later when I returned home from work that thread would be no more.
I could see the writing on the wall.
Oh well...
Another thing that grinds my gears is the weather here in San Diego. I'm sick of the damn sun! I would like some autumn-like weather already! Why is it I have to deal with sun 10 months out of the year?

I don't think anyone feels like towards you, TBE.
And good luck with the whole keeping your opinions to yourself thing.
You youngsters, all full of fire and passion ![]()
We Yanks say they're "full of piss and vinegar!"
What grinds my gears? Distracted drivers. I spend three hours a day surrounded by people who do everything but pay attention to the road (y'know, eating, texting, applying makeup, shaving, lighting their crack pipe . . . that sort of stuff). I proposed a solution to the boys at City Council, but they felt a new law authorizing people to dismember the offending drivers with a machete wasn't a very good idea. *shrugs* Go figure.
I hear ya', myrrym. I'm off to battle distracted drivers very shortly.
Yep. A little dismemberment would do wonders to reign in the idiot drivers out there. I'll second that suggestion!
The benefit system in the UK is once again grinding my angles! I have to cancel my benefit because I've done too many hours work (fair enough) but as soon as I've cancelled it,I need to start it again, because I don't have a lot of hours at work for ages. And I literally have to call one number to cancel, then a completely different number to start it up again straight after cancelling it, which is frankly ridiculous. Oh, and I could have cancelled it without having to phone someone up but the woman I spoke to in the office said that wasn't possible. AAAAAAARRRGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
