New Years Eve, 2009.
The music is loud, the girls are pretty, the guys are hot and the
booze is flowing freely. The party is in full swing; no one expects
anything to go horribly, terribly, apocalyptically wrong.
Not tonight. Not ten years after the Millennium.
Who knew the calendars were wrong?
When the bells have struck midnight and the party is over, it all ends.
Dead Bells - from Library of Horror Press.
I pitched an idea to the Doc, and he said to run with it. So, Dead Bells will be open for submissions August 1st, and run through to October 15th. Already on deck - Gina Ranalli, Brandon Layng and Rich Ristow. Click the link for the full guidelines and other information.
I hope you've stocked up on water and rations, kids. It's gonna be a long winter.
Very interesting.
This sounds like a lot of fun.
Sounds like a good idea for an anthology. I really like the premise. I can't imagine what I would do if I woke up and everyone would be dead...
It's one helluva good idea and I'm so happy Jodi has taken the lead for this.
Apocalyptic novels are my favorite of all novels. (I include the zombie novels in thsi genre.)
"Last Man on Earth" is my favorite movie of all time.
"I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson is my favorite book of all time.
What's not to love?
Go, Jodi, Go!!!

Check the link "DEAD BELLS" for all the info.
I get errors from both chrome and IE that they can't read the page format. Is the page working for everyone else?
This is the error I get:
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /deadbells/ could not be found on this server.Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I'm looking forward to writing for this. It'll be fun...Dead bodies everywhere!!!You cant' beat that...except if they shambled...

Works fine in Firefox if that helps.
Must be something at work. I got Safari to load it on my itouch. Weird.
I didn't realize that was a link. *smack forehead* D'oh!
cool
Tim, it could be because the template I used has images that are .png. I'm working on that later today.
I hadn't even paid attention to the format, LOL ;)
I'm glad everyone's cool with the idea. Sometimes I worry folks won't like post-apoc without zombies...
