Help guys, I've got some great ideas, just no fucking discipline!
How about instead of reading the board...you write.
But seriously, I write a minimum of 300 words a day. Though it may not sound like much, you'd be surprised how quickly it adds up. And 300 words isn't all that time consuming, it can be squeezed in at any time. Now, should the muse still be whispering in your ears when you've typed those 300, keep going, don't be counting every word. Just sit down with 300 as a goal and see what happens.
PS. I've already written my 300 so I'm allowed to play ![]()

I know what that feels like.
Some days I write a whole lot, and other days I write nothing. I've noticed lately, though, that I go on short fiction benders. I'll crank out a few full-length shorts and a whole lot of flash and then take a break for a little while, only to start up the same pattern all over again.
It's a real pain in the ass when I'm trying to work on something longer.
I'm going to write my 300 words right now!
470, cool, thanks for the advice
It's just what I do, my 300 word session was 650. Not much, but it's better than 0.
Your right, I did have to do some minimal research which slowed me down. Thank God most of the infor is from memory.
Damn! I didn't see Throught the Eyes of the Undead listed.
