Remember, the flesh doesn't have to come from you! That's why Doc has all those barbecues.

I'm saving up all of the flesh for the barbecue/picnic for Horror Realm. Some of it has gone over, but if I cook it long enough it should be okay. (should)

Bacon + Horror... I... honestly can't think of how to do that one justice. I mean, I would love to write something, but... hmmm...

Anyway, one thing dawns on me. I seem to recall some Balkan folklore about people turning into pigs from eating pork. Or not eating pork. It was probably tied in with some Medieval anti-Semitism, but that aside, it would be interesting to look into.

Mine has pig people in it hahaha but it also has a woman who can't stop giving birth to pigs.  GOAL!

Dude that sounds so insanely funny and for some strange almost unrelated reason makes me think of Motel Hell and the pig face chainsaw killers.

I'm intrigued...  I'm picturing Jason running around with a machete in one hand, and shoving crispy strips of bacon into his mouth through the hole in the hockey mask...

I guess you'll just have to wait for the book to see if that image is correct wink

If you have  stories for this Anthology, continue to send them to Victorya. She's awful busy just now, but atleast she'll have them to go over when her crazy life settles down!

I don't know. Someone in my story had too much.  (Not submitted yet.  Still needs at least one editing pass.)

I'm alive!  Barely.  As the good doc said, insanely busy.  I'm just getting to read and document them in the database, or was before I got bit by something apparently venomous/poisonous/dirty which set back my energy level a bit as I had to get shots and meds and, yeah!  life in the desert.  I've been here three weeks and to the hospital twice :)  Today I've got that there pain in the arm from the shots.

My process is to read at least twice, plus input it in the database along with the basic premise/word count/etc. to make sure we don't have too many similiar stories - which we haven't yet!  Bacon is so versatile.  So some of your stories I have read, just not the second time yet.

In fact, while in the waiting room at the hospital (after the THIRD person examined the bite to make sure it wasn't a recluse - it's not a spider bite BTW, they just think the fangs/probiscus/jaws of whatever bit me were REALLY dirty causing an infection) I was reading an interview with Paula Dean - it asked if she was on a desert island and had to choose between butter and bacon which she would choose, and it was bacon hands down.

Nothing is more versatile and inspiring than bacon.  Maybe if I place a few slices over the wound it'll heal faster :)
