It's been said. It's over as far as I'm concerned.

You're a superhero.  Crap like this would eat me up until I burst into tears.

It doesn't concern me what happened that made the Doc want to pipe up, but I do want him to know that I never doubted him for a minute and the two projects I'm working on I would want him to consider first before I went to anyone else.

While this is a small press, it is also a community and you are not going to find that sense of love and friendship somewhere else.

That counts for a lot.  Anyone can self publish their own book through Amazon.com's Create Space or through Lulu.com and have it pop up on Amazon or B&N overnight.  But, you won't get the love, the friendship or the help with editing and peer review that you can find here.

Dude, I totally know how much work you put into everything.  I am not only impressed by the books but floored by your devotion to making them great.  If someone said they weren't or you didn't, let me know and I will have Mr. North punch them in the face.  ESB

Mr. North, the Library of the Living Dead enforcer!

If Mr. North needs any help, I did grow up on the mean streets of Detroit. Where I come from, there’s no such thing as fighting dirty, only surviving.

I'm grateful as all hell that you do everything with both speed AND professionalism.  I'm amazed by everything you do, Doc.

I don't have any books being published by the good Doc, but I whole heatedly support him! Anyone that listens to the show can VERY EASILY hear it in his voice the dedication and sincerity in his words!

Bottom Line..... YOU ROCK Doc! Don't sweat it!

Yeah, to me the difference is in the passion.  With the big publishing houses, you're nothing more than a potential revenue stream and - a lot of times - they're simply looking for another formulaic clone of the current best seller.  But if you have an honest love of what you're doing and have that passion driving you, it's amazing what you can accomplish.  Jack Kerouac wrote On the Road in three weeks . . . and it is considered one of the greatest English novels ever written.  Just because something can be produced quickly, does not necessarily mean it is shoddy

Doc, you put out some great stuff, both in the podcast and in print. I am in the last phases of finalizing a novel I'm going to swing past you. Because of this undead empire you have created I have a chance to swing it by a select few of those that I have become aquatinted with due to the podcast. If they say it is a go then it heads to you, if you say no, I'm fine with that. You have al ot on your plate and I as well as everyone else knows you want the best to be put out there. Passion is the key. Those that submit to you are in it for the passion. These are not the people looking for the million dollar movie deals...umm ok, yeah I am looking for that but hell I'm fine with whatever I get because that damn story was in my head and I needed to do something with it, you Doc, just gave me a place to send it that I might not have ever had.

Doc knows that the kung fu fighting Fan Kids (and their mama!) Have always got his back! Does Sammy need to bring out his kung fu alter - ego, Sammy Chong? Cause he will if the need arises.

I'm with Brad, when I finally started writing my apocalyptic novel (which I'm only 2K into :D) I immediately thought of the good doc, because he's always been supportive of the irreverant weird humour I bring to the end of the world.

Thank you Mama for the offer of "Sammy Chong"! This matter has been take care of, but I'll keep him on retainer.

And Victorya ... "You better, you better, you bet!" I aboslutely LOVE apocalyptic novels. And if it's got your type of weird humor in it I just know it will be a hit. I call first dibs!

Well brother of min, the publishing of novels and anthologies for "Library of the Living Dead Press" and "Library of Horror" is my passion. I am really hoping to retire from dentistry within the next 3-5 years and do this until the day I die. And then I'll reannimate and do some more.

This isn't a flash in the pan. I'm in it for the long haul!

I'm loving it bunches.

Doc

I have been extreamly happy with the way "Z Day is Here" has been handled!  I would not hesitate to have the good Doc publish anything of mine!
