My claiming to be intimidated was calculated to discover where I stand.  And now I know.  Being sneaky sometimes backfires.  Oh well.

I'm not really hurt.  Just joking around.  The day I begin to take myself seriously I'll be in trouble.
Just so everyone knows.  King of the joke in poor taste=Steve North

Say!  Crusis got the 'There wolf.  There castle.' reference!!  Hurray!!!  There is hope for the civilized world.

Of course, I am very old, so I can't hold anything against all you youngsters who never saw Young Frankenstein.

Ummmm....I hope I didn't say anything to offend you Stephen.  I did NOT say you weren't a pro.  I was just answering Rhia's off the wall question.

I will confess I am trying to track down someone really special for the antho.  If it works out, it will be an awesome book to have your name in the TOC of.  :  )

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  NO, not at all.  I just meant someone who I think everyone, including me, could go "wow, I am published in the same book as. . . "
Does that make sense?
Jeez.  Always with the hard time.

Sometimes things like that are cool.  I know I TOTALLY freaked when I was in Zombie CSU with ROBERT KIRKMAN, people from the cast of the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, etc.

I was just trying to give that the authors who end up in this antho.  Is that so wrong?

Heck, I even freaked when I was in the Eternal Night with Kevin J. Anderson many years ago or even when I was interviewed in the same issue of a mag. as DAVID DRAKE (one of my heroes!)

Dude, I'm freaked out to be in an anthology with STEPHEN FUCKING NORTH!!!! WOOT!!  And the fabulous Dave Dunwoody.  And D.L. Snell...and Deadmama...did she not kick total ass in Zombology 1.

This will have to be pretty spectacular to get me to girlyscream.

Oh, hell..I'll girlyscream over Stephen North again!

*GIRLYSCREAM!*

Hey!  I'm in an antho with David Dunwoody!  I'm also going to be in an antho published by one of them big houses, Simon and Schuster I think.  Does that make me special?  Not really.

It all pales in comparison to Rhia finding my story funny :)

I'm trying to think of war wolves, but right now my mind goes to street gangs/pimps and the like.  People pay big cash to have sex with were's and the turf wars are scary as hell.  But the freaks love the beastiality with the catch of Were's that they can rationalize away their actions, ya dig homey?

But thats me trying to fit in the story with the whole 'war theme' and it feels a tenuous string at that.

War against terror?  The War at Home?  The Drug War?  The War between the Sexes?

My first *girlyscream* and its from Rhia!!!!

Lord of the Caves* scream that I'm in a book with Rhiannon the Goddess Frater!!!

* I had to pick something manly.  Maybe I should have said shout instead of scream?
*ManlyShout* for the Goddess.  (I do have to be careful---My wife is the Goddess
of the Moon)  One misstep and Steve will be writing 'Dead Meat: the loss of my manhood.'

You're onto something Victorya!  Stick with it.  You let free some cool ideas in there.

Man, I feel horrible.  I was just trying to do something I thought was nice.  I am so sorry.
And that's ULTRA cool on that antho Victorya and the story idea sounds original!
Please don't hate me.  :  (
Thanks Napalmchicken!!  It's good to know someone else read that book too.
And Stephen, YOU THE MAN.  It was my honor to write Barren Earth with you.

Of course I know that one.  It's Grant Morrison.  Gotta love the man.

For anyone else unfamiliar with WE3, think of it as Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey... with cyborgs.

Someone please tell me I didn't offend everyone!  I am really sorry.  There are so many great writers on this forum it's hard to even keep track of them all.

Die Rob Best Die.  LOL.

I'm confused.  What did you say that was offensive?

I have a werewolf story that was cut from All Kinds Of Things Kill because I already had a werewolf story for that one. With a little clean-up, it might be worth a shot.
