How solid is the 5k minimum?  I have a rough draft of something but it's well under 4k and I honestly don't think I could bloat it up to 5 without wrecking it.

The 5K minimum can be tweaked a bit. I just don't want the the book to be flash.

Send it in writingdad!

Needs some serious spit and polish, Doc, but you'll have it as soon as I've got enough saliva.  Er, that didn't come out quite right.

I scanned through the thread but wanted to make sure:  is there any limitation on subject matter for this anthology, or is it open to anything zombie-specific?

And it is still open for submissions, right?

Excellent!  I'll get something to you in the next few days!

(I also PMed you something, but it's not a matter of any urgency.  Just send me the money as instructed or I'll go public with the photos.)

Right, my mouth's dry but the final word count is a touch over 3800.  Checking the formatting now and it should go out in the next few minutes.

I have one for this.  I just need to re-read it for typos and minor edits.

I didn't trumpet it, but Doc accepted my submission for this as well.  In my joyful response e-mail, I began to list the perceived shortcomings of the story but managed to cut myself off at two or three.  I really need to stop doing that.
