Have other people heard about this new book, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies? I'm not sure if I care to read the novel, but I found it a novel idea to mix zombies with a classic literary novel. The author has scored a six-figure book deal for his next book, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
What other classic novels should be mixed with zombies?
War & Pieces
Zombie Treasure Island (w/Pirate Zombies!)
The Invisible Zombie
20,000 Zombies Under the Sea (w/a Giant Squid Zombie!)
The Food of the Zombies (w/Giant Zombies!)
A Tale of Two Zombies (certainly the 'worst of times')
Moby Dick, the Dead Whale (w/a Giant White Whale Zombie!)
Alice's Adventures in Zombieland
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Undead
and my personal favorite,
The Wonderful Flesh-Eaters of Oz
Hey Doc, let me know if you want me to write The Wonderful Flesh-Eaters of Oz. I will bring new meaning to '...and your little dog too!'

for the life of me i cannot get behind the mass culture love affair with jane austen! but yes, i've heard of it. it's getting quite a bit of attention.
Jane Austen? Wasn't she the Bionic Woman?
Oh, wait a minute...
That was Jaime Sommers. She was engaged to Steve Austin before the accident that caused her to become bionic. The couple did marry in the TV movie, Bionic Ever After?
That would make her Jaime Austin. :)

Whatever. Next you're going to tell me that Rudy Wells didn't write The Time Machine.
This is the current ZAT over at Mail Order Zombie; which classic story would benefit from zombies.
Send them into Brother D and Brenda, they will dig them.
Dead New World
Treasure Islets of Langerhans
Tom Saw-your Brains
Decline and Fall of the Living Empire
Madame Ovary Eater
The Zombiefest Manifesto
