I like the irony of eating zombies but I can hear some dogooder saying "But we can't defeat them if we become like them!"
Pah, eat 'em all I say.
Even if it was proved edible, I think most people would only eat it in extreme conditions..like that film Alive....
Remake idea, Undead, a plane load of zombies crash in the Andes and have to decided whether to starve or commit the unthinkable and EAT EACH OTHER! Complex moral dilemma there on many levels lol.

Uhm....
So, there are "carrion eaters" throughout the spectrum of the animal kingdom. (And, if you count Ghouls, there are amongst the human kingdom, too.) So what about dead flesh (zombie dead as opposed to just dead dead) that is any different? I think that, just like any other kind of meat, rotted dead flesh would be just as edible. Now, the normal human would probably NOT be able to tolerate it raw (egads) but if cooked and seasoned, it would be just as edible as "bad" pork or any other meat that's been used to feed people when fresh was just not quite available. Mind you, many a soldier died during those campaigns from the "bad" meat that was being fed them, but just as many more were able to tolerate it.
Just saying.

Go ahead and eat it, but I'm staying far away from it. Everything zombie can't be trusted, before you know it, you'll be a zombie (or a human again if you're already a zombie...)

Zombiesurvivor raises a good question. IF the living become zombies by being bitten by a zombie, does a zombie become living if they are bitten by the living? I'll have to chew that over!
