Yup, I got my signed copy courtesy of a Library competition, thank you very much.
Wonderful book, very visual in description.
I understand what DL was saying about his metaphors. They made me stop reading, lower the book and think about what he was getting across. I found I could only read it a few chapters at a time cos of all the thunking I was having to do.
That may sound like criticism, but it surely ain't. I usually devour books and read them quickly, too quickly so it was a good change of pace for me. It's one of those books that I will always remember where I read it, outside our tent, cooking in the summer heat!
It's next on my list to reread after I've finished "Reign of the Dead" again....

This incredible novel by D.L. Snell is a combination vampire/zombie novel. Don't think that you can combine the two and make a good story? Welllll, you're wrong. D.L. knocks this one outta the park. Nasty and quite sexy vampires take on a horde of the most insane zombies you could ever imagine. The prize? The humans of course.
Have you read it?

This was definitely an original piece! I loved this book and highly recommend it. I think it could easily be adapted to the big screen!
