Ishtar is awesome man! Jeff Daniels owes his performance in Dumb & Dumber to Warren Beaty's character in this movie. The songs are hilarious. The second half is just awful, I admit, but has many laughs, such as: the blind camel bit, every scene with Charles Grodin in it ("No, Senator, we did not fire on 2 Americans in the desert. Who told you that? The Secretary of State? Well, how would he know?"), and of course the concert at the end! "Applaud!" I quote this movie constantly, which is probably why Robb quotes it too. So, please don't deduct cool points from him. He loves me in spite of my love for this movie!
And remember, "Most guys would be ashamed to have nothing at your age. But you say, to heck with it. You say you'd rather have nothing, than settle for anything less."

A little behind due to being gone, but, I must say, that is a sign of true love. To defend your DH so he doesn't lose cool points is just so sweet & to love your DW inspite of her love of Ishtar is even better.
