Audio books are a great way to get through those boring stretches of the day... like when I start work, and it ends.

I've finished "All Kinds of Things Kill", which was an excellent read by the way and I'm beginning with Robin Cook's "Clone". Yeah, it's not a zombie novel but I'm also very interested in SF novels. After that, I think I'm gonna read a zombie novel again. You can never have enough zombies!

I just finished the Ruins for the 5th time. I can't quite explain what it is that I like about the book, but I really enjoy it. The movie...well, you all know what happens with books made into movies.

I'm reading, listening to actually, Greener Than You Think by Ward. It's about grass that smothers the good old USA. It was written in the late fifties, and the author's toungue is firmly in his cheek.

Afterwards read Death of Grass by John Christopher.
That should be the perfect antidote.

And then read "The Grass is Always Greener (Over the Septic Tank)"

LOL I had to look that one up! It's always an edumacation on this forum.

Right now I only cut the grass over my septic tank. I'll be digging it up soon though!

It's not a zombie book (please don't burn me). Brother Odd, by DK.

Finished Greener Than You Think. A very tongue in cheek novel. Yup, the world ended. Killed by grass you can't smoke!

Now Im reading Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett

I'm only on page 45 so most of it has been back story and getting you up to date. Odd is starting to see boaches (spelling), so it should start speeding up. But so far so good.

I love the character of Death in Terry Pratchett's novels. I want to be Death's granddaughter! (Susan, I believe?)
Currently reading The Lake by Richard Laymon. I've read 2 of his novels so far, really liked one, didn't care for the other one. So, I guess this will be the tie-breaker.

If you can, check out the movie Hogsfather....

The Hogfather movie was pretty good. I was impressed. I hear they are also working on a movie of The Light Fantastic. Or maybe it's already done. I'll have to ask my pop culture encyclopedia. His name is Robb.

Right now I'm reading history books for my grad school classes. But I did just grab that free copy of "I Am Legend", which I'll pobably read tommorrow while my kids are in school. Recently, I've re-read "Plague of the Dead" (while waiting for my copy of "Thunder and Ashes"), "The City", "The Rising", "Zombie Survival Guide", "Dying to Live" (one of my absolute favorites), "Home of the Red Fox" by J. A. Buxton, and "The Deerslayer" by James Fenimore Cooper. Not all of these are zombie novels but I enjoy reading the classics and romances too. I, of course, read "Thunder and Ashes" as soon as I got it. I think that's everything I've read in the last month.

"I love the character of Death"
It was the only thing wrong with Empire. The Reaper DIDN'T SPEAK LIKE THIS!
