I did not see that coming at all. Walking Dead 8 was insane. Can't wait for book 9.

Fred,
Back to the I am legend rant. As you know I too liked the movie (at least in some part) I agree its difficult to have completely accurate translation between book and film. Fortunately for me I have the memory of a fruit fly. I saw the movie and knew it had changed from the book, I just couldn't put my finger on the differences. The same with Lord of the rings. The thing those two movies have in common for me is... I see them once and I never want to see them again. I tried with both. I fell asleep through lord, and was just bored with legend. I guess thats how I know if a movie really sticks with me.

I just bought a copy of Hardcore Zen by Brad Warner. It's a pretty good read. This guy went from Punk rock bands to Zen Buddhist Priest. A lot of what he talks about makes sense to me. Let me know if anyone is familiar with this guy.

I am re-reading the editor copy of "Dying To Live: Life Sentence" by Kim Paffenroth. It's an incredible follow-up to the most wonderful "Dying To Live". Kim gave me a copy of it at last years "Zombie Fest" and I devoured it. I've read it at least 5 times and it rocks harder each time I read it. I just finished the second reading of Stephen North's "Dead Tide" (our soon to be published first zombie novel for the "Library of the Living Dead' imprint. Yer just gonna shit zombie turds when y'all get to read it.Wink

I've finished "Headshot Quartet" of the Undead series from Permuted Press, I'm now going to start with "All Kinds of Things Kill" by Robert R. Best...

Ploughing through a Dragonlance novel, not too good.

All Kinds of things Kill next! I wanna read them before I hear them. That way, I get the shock value first and then the different spin Mrs Best will put on it.

Thank you for saying that! I had a hard time and really struggled with World War Z. Everyone tells me how wonderful it is, but I just can't seem to get into it.

I loved World War Z as an Audiobook!! Sadly I don't get a lot of time to READ books but I can listen to them all day long mostly because my job doesn’t need my brain. I did take the time to read all of Rob's book but I am in the middle of like 6 others book and just don't have the time to open them. I am listening to the Two Minute Rule (it is pretty good) then back to The Lost World this will be number 33!

I find I'm sliding into the realm of audiobooks more and more and I don't like that I am. I enjoy reading and miss it greatly, but I don't have as much time as I used to.
