These are pretty good. Two good ol' boys from Kentucky discuss horror films and then take calls from the listeners. DVD reviews and interviews with famous horror actors, directors etc. These bubbas are apparently quite well known horror journalists. The 3 part interview with George Romero was real good. They even break out into impromptu songs occasionally!

My favourite laugh out loud moments were...

"Yeah, that Stanley Kubric is one eclectic son of a bitch" (it's funnier when said by a hillbilly) and...

in a conversation about SAW 3, their totally bafflement as to why being drowned in pig poo and guts is so terrible lol.

It can be a bit waffley but there is some good stuff here. And it's usually over 3 hours long.

Not a patch on our Hillybilly Doc, of course.

Last I checked, they refuse to post the show as a podcast. So I can't really listen to it, unfortunately.

Eh? Why not?

Do you mean you can't download it? They have links, "right click to save".

Or do you mean you can't listen to it cos they refuse have it as a podcast? Sort of ideological and moral reasons? lol.

Well, I guess what I should have said was I'm too lazy to download each file manually. Ha!
iTunes has me totally addicted to just hooking up the pod and letting it sync. Anything else just feels so damned tiring....

LOL ahhhh I see. That's fair enough. There is so much out there in the podosphere that you have to sift out stuff. For me, if it ain't got zombies in it, I don't usually bother. Unless it comes recommended by other Librarians, of course!
